What is the catch-up plan for learners?

The current public sector strike has led to the closing down of schools. With the recent 2010 Fifa World Cup, schools were given a 30-day holiday. With a lot of time being wasted due to the strike and the long June holiday, what plans will be implemented to catch up on this lost time?
