Learners

The NTCE is directly aimed at high school and tertiary/FET learners (past and current) looking to enter or advance in the tourism industry.

Educators

The NTCE is not exclusively targeted at the learners – the educators are just as important as you are the drivers behind the tourism industry.

Visitors

The Expo is open to all members of the public who are interested in tourism, whether you are currently in the industry or not.

Exhibitors

The NTCE needs you to make this a successful and impactful experience for our future tourism candidates.

Sponsors

The NTCE requires the support of the industry at large in order to be truly successful in its endeavours.

"I liked helping my mom in the kitchen while I was growing up," says Goba, "so I started experimenting with food and just fell in love with the kitchen."

She aspires to work overseas in the coming years. "I am hoping to work in the UK, America or Dubai for a few years and then open my own gourmet deli bakery," she says. She aims at gaining her experience internationally. "I want to learn the different aspects of chefing and do learnerships at different places."

Goba chose the tourism industry as her career choice as chefing as been her life-long dream. "It is what I am good at and I enjoy doing it. I want to do this for the rest of my life. You get to meet a lot of different and interesting people in this industry," she concludes.
